Pooley & Oliver collaborates with Clearwell in implementation of advanced IT tool

California-based Pooley & Oliver, LLP, has entered into an agreement with Clearwell Systems, Inc., to implement Clearwell Email Intelligence Platform, an IT tool that will improve the efficiency of its internal email system. With the application of the new technology, the law firm will be able to reduce costs by 82 percent and allow faster and more accurate decisions during litigation. The new IT tool streamlines and automates email analysis. The law firm specializes in litigation and trial of patent, trade secret, copyright, and technology-related commercial disputes in state and federal courts and before the International Trade Commission. The firm has a sizeable counseling and licensing group for intellectual property matters.

Keno Kozie expands Help Desk to 24/7

Chicago-based Keno Kozie Associates has expanded its Law Firm Help Desk outsourcing service by implementing a 24/7 end-user support system that will help in providing efficient and impromptu services to its clients. The law firm has hired a staff of experienced support analysts to upgrade its service in support of client firms. Keno Kozie Associates has been providing Help Desk services, application training, and IT integration for law firms and has experience in designing, implementing, and supporting critical applications that are typically found in law firms, including document management, litigation support, case management, redlining, and others.

Morris Schneider upgrades storage and speed

Morris, Schneider & Prior, LLC, has acquired a new system to increase storage and speed. Its five-year-old Xiotech Magnitude system has been replaced with Pillar Axiom midrange systems, a move that the firm says was necessary to provide more storage space to its image-sensitive data, which filled a lot of disk space. The new software promises to place data on the disk, taking into account the frequency of its use, and thus increase speed. It also assured an easy upgrade and provided an attractive price tag to the law firm. Morris, Schneider & Prior focuses its practice on mortgage foreclosure, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, collections, and other real estate-related matters.

Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs opens office in Florida

In line with the firm's expansion strategy across the U.S., Ohio-based Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP, opened a new office in West Palm Beach, FL. Four attorneys, including shareholder and managing partner Brian J. Cooke, have been appointed at the new office to handle cases covering corporate and transactional, mergers and acquisitions, securities, stock and assets allocations and dispositions, employment law, family law, intellectual property, and litigation law. Their clients include sole proprietors, multinational corporations, governmental bodies, foundations, and public organizations. Cooke joins Buckingham from Arnstein & Lehr, as does attorney John A. Turner. Joseph L. Ackerman, Jr., comes from Boose Casey Ciklin Lubitz Martens McBane & O'Connell, while Carina Leeson joins from Stuart R. Manoff and Associates.
