Kaplan University Introduces New Legal Studies Graduate Program
Kaplan University is now offering a Master of Science in Legal Studies degree, which has been designed for non-lawyers who want to gain more in-depth knowledge of the law. The degree program will be a great option for paralegals and other legal staff who want to enhance their understanding of legal matters.
Paralegal Blamed by Partner for $200,000 Trust Fund Loss
A paralegal has been blamed for a loss of more than $200,000 from a trust fund in a Tampa Bay firm scandal. Paralegal Kristen Collins was blamed by a partner in the firm for having access to the accounts. Collins said that it was the partner who mismanaged funds.
Paralegal to Compete in Olympic Trials
Lauren Morford, a paralegal in New York City, is swimming in the US Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. From there she hopes to go to the Olympic Games this year in Beijing, China.
