President of Miller, Brown & Dannis elected to unified school board
Education law firm Miller, Brown & Dannis has announced the election of Gregory Dannis, its president and a leader of the firm's labor, employment, and personnel practice, to the Hillsborough, CA, Unified School District School Board. Dannis is recognized throughout California as one of the foremost authorities on the Brown Act. Jay Zweig joins Bryan Cave, LLP, as a partner
Jay Zweig has joined international law firm Bryan Cave, LLP, as a partner in its Phoenix office. Zweig will manage the office's labor and employment group, which includes more than 80 lawyers. With two decades of experience, Zweig has represented employers in matters related to human resources training, preventing and defending lawsuits, and administrative actions pertaining to contracts, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour law, and OSHA and ADA issues. Zweig has also been the lead counsel in trials for numerous companies, including Fortune 100 companies. LexisNexis announces alliance with Payment Processing, Inc.
Payment Processing, Inc., (PPI) an industry leader in integrated transaction processing, has announced an alliance with LexisNexis. The deal will integrate PPI PayMover, PPI's proprietary payment gateway, with Lexis Back Office, powered by PCLawTM. As a result, law firms will be able to take advantage of integrated credit card processing capabilities for time billing, accounting, and practice management. PPI provides software developers with an array of services for integrating electronic payments, including gateway services and PCI security assistance.
