Law Firm seeks Associate Attorney Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have one to three years (1-3) years of work experience as an associate attorney, judicial clerk or law clerk, be admitted to practice law or seeking admission to practice in New Jersey, and have a working knowledge of New Jersey and New York Court Rules. New York bar admission is a plus. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting, preparing, and formatting motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses. The candidate must also be capable of performing legal research and writing, communicating with clients, court staff, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel, and reviewing medical records, bank statements, expert reports, and case evidence. The Associate Attorney must also be able to appear in court to argue motions, attend status conferences, and assist with other proceedings. The ideal candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and self-motivated, and be capable of working independently. The candidate must also be skilled in MS Word, Excel, Lexis, and other computer programs, and be able to operate a computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone. The candidate must also be able to work under deadline pressure. The Associate Attorney will be based in a professional law office environment. The position is initially a fully remote position and the schedule is Monday - Friday from 10AM - 6PM. The pay is $65,000 - $70,000 per year and includes health insurance.
